Just a Bit of Something~.~

I'm reading my fourth Jane Austen book "Mansfield Park". Previously I've read "Pride and Prejudice" and "Emma". "Mansfield Park" is by far my favorite! Fanny Price is a little bit different than the other heroines. She has a very good head on her shoulders but she is also very Innocent and sweet. I also recently saw "Emma" for the first time and I really liked it. Gweneth Paltrow made a very good Emma Woodhouse. One of my favorite characters in the movie was Harriet Smith. The girl that played her fit the character very well in my opinion. :) So who do you like the best? Who do you like the least?

I like Mr.Knightley best, and Mr. Elton least. As for women, I like Mrs.Weston best, and Jane Fairfax least.

I have just found your blog also! In "Emma" my favorite character has to be Mrs. Western and my least favorite is Jane Fairfax. But I love Harriet and Emma too. "Mansfield Park" is a lovely story. I saw the old BBC series version, though, and I didn't like it at all... the Mum's really wierd and some of the actors can't act very well.
Very lovely story though.

I have always related with Emma, I'm forever trying to find romance for other people in my life. >_< So I'd have to say she's my favorite, and the Mr. Knightley. Does anyone like Elton? Seriously? I actually greatly dislike Frank Churchhill, just because well, I think he's spoiled and ungrateful.

I've only read "Pride and Prejudice!"

Oh my! I love Jane Austen, and feel that she is becoming really underappreciated with today's teen readers. Especially with the "Twilight Saga". I really enjoyed “Pride and Prejudice” and liked it way better than “Emma” and “Sense and Sensibility.”

Your blog is refreshing!

If you ask me, the BBC version of Emma was the absolute best! Its around four hours long, but I just love the characters, and it is so much like the book. As for my favorite characters, I'd say that I like Emma and Mr Knightly the very best. My least would be the Elton's. =P

Great Post!
