~Jane Austin~

~This blog is going to reflect Jane Austen and her wonderful novels as much as it can. Jane Austen is one of my favorite writers. She studied human nature and wrote down what she saw. She wrote at a tiny table in the mornings and whenever someone came in the room she would act as if she was writing her grocery list. She didn't want people to know she was writing. Not because it was a disgrace but because she was afraid they would try to get her to add things that she didn't like. She didn't tell many other people she was writing, and was so discreet that when one of her nieces picked up a copy of Sense and Sensibility she didn't know who had written it and said "I can tell this is rubbish by just looking at it." It seems that as time goes on her novels become more and more popular. I wonder what she would think about the movies, plays, and awards her books have brought? What do you think?~
